Bulgaria

I did my exchange in April -07 in Bulgaria at city called Plovdiv. Reasons to leave there were that I wanted some country eastern part of Europe, also some place where is already summer, or at least end of spring, and Bulgaria matched those criteria. City of Plovdiv I choose because it was told to be historic, old and beautiful city. And not too big and too crowded (In plovdiv there lives little less than 400.000 people) Bulgaria full filled my expectations perfectly. Weather there was very nice, not too hot but temperature at day time

I did my exchange in the University hospital of Sofia, Bulgaria. I was in the general surgery department with six other exchange students. I think that there were too many of us in the same clinic. When we went to see the surgeries all of us couldn't see the operation at the same time. The main thing we did in the hospital was seeing the surgeries. So it became a little boring in the end just standing there with out seeing anything. We tried to suggest if we could be in a smaller groups but it wasn't possible because only one doctor wanted to teach
