I had my clinical clerkship in the University hospital of Ljubljana in August 2005, in the Department of Anesthesiology. I got my Card of Acceptance already in April and I received a welcome letter from my contact person from Ljubljana in May. It was easy to clear out everything concerning the clerkship through emails with the contact person. She even  picked me up from the train station when I arrived to Ljubljana. I had my flight to Vienna, which cost me about 200 euros, and from Vienna I travelled by train to Ljubljana. There were two changes on

I was on exchange in the University of Ljubljana in the department of
Pathological physiology. The subject of research in my research group was
skeletal muscle regeneration. The premises where we worked and the
equipment there were older than in Biomedicum but they seemed to work well
enough. Everybody in the group spoke English and was nice and welcoming
which made up for the fact that there was practically no work to be done in
the laboratory during summer months. While everyone was writing articles I
